I'm excited to share that my website finally has its own domain and is running on my very own server! 🚀
It may look similar to the old GitHub Pages version at first glance, but for me, this is a huge step forward. Over the past three months, I've spent my off time learning about server deployment, domains, SSH, Linux commands, and all the little details that come with running a site independently.
There were so many moments of frustration (especially when I kept failing the Nginx services…and Linux's non-graphical interface is so challenging!), but now I really feel rewarded.
Now I can collect data for online experiments more flexibly, without the limitations of third-party platforms. I'm also looking forward to trying out new features and maybe even building some small web tools right here.
It feels really meaningful to have a place on the internet that's truly mine (I'll call this Greenyhua-verse). There's still a lot to learn, but I'm happy with how far I've come—and even more excited for what's next!
